Was that half a haiku? ;)
On topic, yeah, I'm heading that way. With installs, discs mean a lot less than they used to.
Oh man, that's neat. Worried it would smudge and get dirty quickly, but that's a good price.
Yeah, tbh I'd normally rather have a disc but we'll have to install it anyway!
I didn't find this to be a problem in Scholar. Weapons degrade. That's why we carry 3 or avoid combat when necessary.
It's the US release date. The previous date was for UK/EU.
True, BUT it was only available last month and was recorded as a world exclusive! That's pretty much the definition of elusive IMO.
The Oculus prototype was working at Gamescom last year, so fingers crossed!
Yup. Shame about the extended delays for last-gen/Wii U, but to be honest I'm glad they prioritised current-gen.
Or even Andy Tudor, seeing as that's his name. :/
Still, hey, everybody makes typos. Good interview, fingers crossed that the game delivers!
I actually prefer subs to dubs so I agree wholeheartedly. That said, it's horses for courses, and it would be nice if Bandai Namco offered dual audio like they're doing for Tales Of Zestiria.
Pirate Warriors 1 is just sorta okay. PW2 is AMAZING, at least IMO. Feels like the anime come to life. PW3 is shaping up nicely by the looks of it.
@TheImprobableMulk: for me it really captured the zany spirit of the anime (I didn't read the manga, I know, I know :P ) and that energy pumped up the DW formula.
Yeah, you'll either need a dedicated gaming laptop or a fairly decent rig. Specs aren't that onerous though.
For sure. I much prefer it to Dynasty Warriors too, so much more colourful, vibrant and exciting.
Hear hear, well said. It's always tempting to play it 'safe,' to listen to focus groups and see what's trending in other forms of entertainment, rather than knuckling down to create your own great unique games that are the best they can be.
Bloodborne most recently shows that incredible things happen when veteran designers are given the resources and support they need without a panel of blithering marketing dolts behind them.
Yeah, both awesome games that actually have a lot in common when you look past the art direction. Own both and love them to bits.
I fear you're right. Still, there'll come a point when even casual consumers turn around and say 'enough is enough.'
For sure, tbh I think it's actually the most impressive achievement of the lot. Bloodborne is amazing but was always going to sell, MH4U did an awesome job of updating the franchise but a little cut-price PC game is giving them a run for their money!
It's really nice and uncomplicated too. Loads of publishers issue dozens and dozens of different packs and passes, but Nintendo just have DLC Pack 1 and DLC Pack 2. £7 each, £11 the lot.
I wonder whether some of this comes down to inexperience rather than niceness, seeing as it's kind of new territory for Nintendo, but it's still awesome.
It's great but The Pre-Sequel has some really nasty technical issues on XO (can't vouch for PS4, haven't played it). Worst screen tear I've ever seen in a console game.
Still recommend it, when you're shooting and looting you can forgive some of the small stuff.
